Current Projects

The current projects for Peak Energy Resources include:

Bakken Field (Williston Basin - Dunn, McKenzie, Mountrail Counties, North Dakota)

Peak currently has approximately 47,000 net acres leased in the heart of the Devonian aged Middle Bakken and Three Forks horizontal oil play in North Dakota. Peak began acquiring this acreage position, located primarily on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, in early Fall of 2007.

Riverton Dome East (Wind River Basin - Fremont County, Wyoming)

The Riverton Dome East (RDE) field is located on the Wind River Indian Reservation and was purchased as part of the original Peak Energy company formed in 2002. This field was first discovered by Conoco in the early 60's and has produced more than 70 BCFE from three sections of land.

Southwest Nebraska Oil Play (Hayes, Dundy and Hitchcock Counties, Nebraska)

In the fourth quarter of 2006, Peak acquired approximately 40,000 acres along trend with existing fields producing from the Pennsylvanian aged Lansing/Kansas City Group.
